Add kernel parameter etc=hdXY
« on: May 25, 2009, 10:09:55 PM »
Is it possible to add kernel parameter etc=hdXY ?
i know i can Backup it , add etc to .filetool.lst
but if i use PPI mode and tce, local, home, opt=hdXY
why not add etc=hdXY ?

why i don't like the Backup , because if the directory
inside .filetool.lst and .xfiletool.lst is renamed or removed
the Backup refuse to Shutdown or Restart. Why not add
an option to ignore the directory that has been renamed
or removed and still backup the healthy directory and
continue shutdown/restart.
fun and fearless ...

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I think it would be useful in that, if you choose not to have a local storage file/partition but want to keep the settings on the system.
