/home/tc/.Xdefaults won't load correct settings
« on: May 10, 2012, 07:47:12 AM »
When I turn on my computer and get to my desktop ----------> /home/tc/.Xdefaults does not load correct settings (theme) for me, unless after booting up and getting to my desktop........ I go to exit to prompt, when there, I startx again, and then, my correct theme works (plastic)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks George , ;)

If you want help, you need to tell us which window manager you are using, and how you changed theme.

MY FAULT Gerald_CLARK AND MY APOLOGIZES, I'm using XFCE4 and I changed the theme for fltk - located in /home/tc/.Xdefaults to "plastic" but the setting don't work, unless I RESTART "X"

Thanks for the quick reply buddy.

Use Xfce4's own settings.
