what should i select in mouse select option:
i use PS/2 mouse
which is right option cause i tried most of it and i think that didnt work out.

Legacy IMPS/2 Wheel  should work for PS2
USB & IMPS/2 Wheel  should work for USB

The port refers to the port on the computer, not the type of mouse. I use a USB mouse with a USB
to PS2 adapter for one of my mice. The correct choice for that mouse is  Legacy IMPS/2 Wheel.

Concerning similar question: i have mouse with 9 separate button (4 normal, 1 wheel click + scroll up/down + right and left of tilt wheel) but two direction of tilt wheel is not captured by mouse button configuration of e17 and nor by xev.
The key names correspond to number of button because to the extreme right called button9 for button 9 for e17

i selected IMPS/2 wheel but scroll is still not working
