Mail server?
« on: August 29, 2011, 12:37:28 AM »
Is TC capable of being a mail server?

If so, can someone walk me through the process?

I just want a simple one.  Say, just one user with one email address right now.  Domain name is already set up.
If I am doing something wrong, or if there is a better way, please let me know.

You may try Postfix.

Yeah, I just installed it, but don't even know where this package is located right now.

Is there a link or some kind of walk through anyone can provide for a n00bie?

Also, I've seen in other tutorials where they have you download several other packages to handle imap and pop separately.  Can postfix alone handle all that, or at least imap?

http://www.postfix.org/

TC Forum itself is not the right place to learn how to use an application.
